On Friday April 25, I did MC at a Fashion Show in aid of the Clare Crusaders children’s charity.
Clare Crusaders is local charity that is NOT government funded and does Trojan work for 350 children and teenagers with special needs in the Clare area.
The event was organised by Barcode and took place on their premises on Parnell Street in Ennis.
The Spring/Summer collections from Willow, Kymari and Patrick Bourke Menswear were featured on the night and were modelled by some regulars of Barcode including: Ashling Murphy, Tess McGovern, Declan Ensko, Liam Meaney, Rachael Hickey, Niamh Walsh, Emmet Lundy, Jenna Murphy, Sam Miotto and Paudie Glynn.
This was my first time doing MC at an event so to say I was nervous is an understatement!
The unique factor of the fashion show was the fact that all of the models were amateur models and local people and this added a fun and amusing aspect to the night.
My outfit on the night consisted of a navy, white and blue shirt from River Island, faded slim fitting jeans also from River Island, brown laced and zipped sided boots and a brown belt.
