Hair and Make-up

This is ideally the most essential part of the bride’s preparation for the wedding day. This is a time for relaxation for the brides as the pre-wedding jitters begin to set in. This time needs to be an almost therapeutic experience for the bride. Do not underestimate how long it takes to get four heads and four faces of make-up done, so carefully plan out the timing of the morning. Hair stylists and make-up artists also book up quite fast so need to be booked almost one year in advance.

Eat

DON’T FORGET TO EAT, yes this may seem quite obvious but with all the nerves tension and excitement food may simply be forgotten. You do not want to get out of the car outside the church and walk down to aisle toward your husband to be feeling weak or having your stomach growling like an angry animal.

Last minute

No matter how prepared you are something will be forgotten or something will have to be done and this is where your amazing team of bridesmaids come into play. Things that crop up the morning of a wedding include additional packing to your overnight bag or confirming directions for singers or musicians. Don’t worry about any of these things because on your wedding day you should not have to lift a finger and your bridesmaids are not allowed to say no.

Finishing Touches

These are the very last few things you do before you leave to walk down the aisle, make sure you have everything! Pack your purse with necessary items like mini deodorant, back up make-up and lipstick, hair grips and wet wipes then hand your purse to your maid of honour and let her mind it for the day.

Relax

The morning of a wedding should not be pandemonium, realistically you have been planning your wedding for at least two years and 95 percent of the day will automatically fall into place. Take the time to acknowledge those around you the morning of the wedding, they are there because they love you and want to support you. The morning is a small but important part of the day, make sure you enjoy it.
