The third annual Dainty Daisies competition took place on Saturday November,1 in Treacy’s West County Hotel Ennis.
The event took place to raise some much needed funds for Rape Crisis Mid-West.
13 beautiful girls took part in the pageant including: Miss Hots Cross Buns, Miss Teak, Miss Chief, Miss Oops a Daisy, Miss Tip Tap and Miss Porter.
There were three prizes up for grabs on the night, Miss Sexiest Legs, Miss Congeniality and of course of the overall Dainty Daisies winner.
Miss Congeniality: Miss Handle (Fergie Tuohy)
Miss Sexiest Legs: Keith Coote
Overall winner, Dainty Daisy: Miss Oops a Daisy (Tony Cogan)
On the night I met the fabulous Tess Purcell of Coast Model Management who was judging the event along with Emmet Moloney of the Clare People and Stephen McDermott of Clare FM.
Claire O’Meara of the Irish Cancer Society shop was also on hand to style the beautiful ladies.
The night was amazing and my outfit was made of a New Look Blazer, short sleeve pink Topman shirt, slim destroyed Hollister jeans and shoes from Patrick Bourke Menswear.
I was horrified at the fact I didn’t win a spot prize, after all I did know what the 6 counties of Munster were…. *cries silently to himself*
